Assisi, the majestic town of immense beauty and spiritual significance, where St. Francis of Assisi was born in 1182. You will enjoy a guided tour with time to explore and shop afterward. Lunch on your own at your own pace.

Cooking class in the hills of Umbria, you will learn the secrets of Italian cooking, making four types of pasta and sauces. Afterward, enjoy the fruits of your labor on the terrace while the birds chirp and glasses of wine flow—another great day.
Cortona
Cortona in Tuscany, where Frances Mayes wrote the book “Under the Tuscan Sun”.
Great for strolls, sipping & shopping, museums, and boutique stores. Cortona is one of my favorite hilltop villages. Lunch on your own at your own pace. I’ll tell you where to meet me for a Prosecco Party before we head back to the villa.
Citta Della Pieve
This small, beautifully preserved medieval town in central Italy is right on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. Saturday is open market day, and you will shop and wander along with the locals. Fresh fruits, veggies, cheeses, meats, clothes, etc. Lunch on your own, see attached sheet for my favorite places.

Deruta
Deruta, Your First stop at Maioliche Artistiche Tassi, where you will witness the entire process of creating gorgeous hand-painted pottery from start to finish. The colors and patterns are treasures that speak to you, inviting you to take them home! Afterwards, lunch at Taverna Del Gusto in Deruta. Luciano, the owner, takes good care of us, and his food is de-lish!
Transportation
Village Vacations in Italy offers one complimentary group transportation to and from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (FCO)
Pick-up at FCO Arrival Terminal 3 is 11:00 am
Departure from accommodation to FCO is 6:30 am, or the group decides on the departure time
We can, of course, help you with other transportation if you need to hire a private driver

Cancellation Policy
We limit our tours to a small number of guests to ensure a more enjoyable and personalised experience. Our cancellation policy is designed to help cover unexpected expenses that may arise due to last-minute cancellations. A lot of effort is made for our tours, and cancellations also affect us. Should Village Vacations in Italy cancel your tour for any reason, including insufficient participant interest, you will receive a full refund.
· 90 days before Day 1: All payments minus $250 per person will be refunded
· 89 to 60 days before Day 1: 50% will be refunded
· 59 days before Day 1 or less: 100% will be forfeited
Balance is due 90 days before the first day of your tour.
